Pamoja Connections Scholarship Award

During the 2020 50th Pamoja Anniversary Virtual Celebration, a scholarship award was established in honor of Pamoja Founder, Visionary, and Mistress of Cultural Affairs, Pastor Nawanna Lewis Miller.

With the Nawanna Lewis Miller Pamoja Connections Award, we will continue to work "together" to award financial assistance to University of Georgia students who actively participate in the Pamoja Connections groups to aid them in achieving their goals in higher education.

Undergraduate and graduate students alike, who participate in any one or more Pamoja Connections groups, who are in good academic standing, and have financial need, may apply.

This is how you can help! Make your donation today to brighten a student's tomorrow. Any amount, large or small, will benefit students who have a zest for the arts who dream big!

Applicant Information

SCHOLARSHIP CRITERIA:

Applicant must be an active participant in one of the currently operating UGA Pamoja Connections organizations:

African American Choral Ensemble
Pamoja Dance Company
Black Theatrical Ensemble
National Association of Black Journalists
InfUSion Magazine

With a preference for students majoring in the arts, this scholarship award opportunity is open to any undergraduate or graduate student meeting the above criteria to apply.

AWARD REQUIREMENTS:

The Nawanna Lewis Miller Pamoja Connections Award is need based and available to students in good academic standing.
